SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30"", 2002
7.00 P.M.
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Enfield was held Wednesday,
January 30th, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Enfield Community Building, 182 Enfield Main
Road, Ithaca,New York with Supervisor Owens presiding.
Present: Supervisor Owens, Town Councilperson Ronald Switzer, Town Councilperson
Greg Stevenson, Town Councilperson Mark Roach and Town Councilperson Pat
Gumaer. Others present were Town Clerk Alice Laue.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
Supervisor Owens led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Code Enforcement—Councilperson Stevenson
Vehicle Purchase
After a length discussion about a used 1995 Ford Explorer with 100,000 miles, in the
price range of$6,000.00 or a new or newer vehicle it was decided to look at state bids.
Equipment/Gear
Identified some items needed by Code Enforcement to essentially do their jobs. As their
employers we must purchase approved hard hats ANSI reflective vests. Other assorted
items needed are—contractor pull over your shoe boots, a couple of tape measures, a
shorter interior tape and a 100 foot or so tape measure, flashlights, one rechargeable one
for the vehicle.
Consensus—Items to be purchased and money transferred from Contingency to Code
Enforcement Contractual.

Motion made by Councilperson Stevenson, seconded by Councilperson Switzer that the
Special Town Board Meeting held January 30'h, 2002 adjourn.

Switzer aye.
