Suggested Guidelines for Use of Town Facilities
1. To reserve the use of the Community Building it is necessary to contact the Town
Clerk's Office(273-8256). The Clerk maintains the official booking list. All events
must be booked through the Clerk's office.
2. Use priority shall be as follows:
A. Use by the Courts.
B. Use for Town functions or meetings.
C. Use by our Town's people for organizations,events,etc.
D. Use for other purposes
3. Conditions for Use:
A. Events must be booked through the Clerk's office.
B. Events must be properly supervised.
C. All building users mustclean up after themselves.
D.The consumption of alcohol or any controlled substance is prohibited.
E. In accordance with the requirements of the Town's insurance carrier,users of
the building must supply the Town with proof that the user has and maintains sufficient
liability insurance to indemnify the Town in the event of an incident. The Town Clerk
can supply the proposed user with the necessary information. (Typically this involves
naming the Town as"an additional co-insured." For most organizations, like scouts,
Community Council groups,church groups, etc,this is a formality that is easily satisfied.)
