HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-01-15 January 15, 1992 The special meeting with the Enfield Planning Board was called to order with the following members of the Town Bi-ard and the Planning Board present: Town Board Members: Planning Board Members: Supervisor Jean Owens Caroline Bingham Councilman Pat Dougherty Gene Endres Councilman Robert Linton David Thompson Councilman Donald Lovelace Joella Moore Councilman. Linda VanNederynen Mike Williams Caroline Bingham stated she would like procedures set up for the Planning Board. She would also 'like to have a brochure printed on the Site Plan Review Moratorium to distribute to people with questions. • Councilman Linton suggested that the Site Plan Review should be a priority to the Planning Board. He stated that there should be more public input. Mike Williams said there is a problem with public communication. Supervisor Owens said there needs to be more work done on the development of procedures. Councilman Linton asked for input from the Planning Board on the road policy and fire tax on agricultural property. Caroline Bingham said the mobile home ordinance and the subdivision regulations are about complete. Mike Williams stated that these things need to be completed before procedures can be established. Supervisor Owens spoke about a possibility of an Environmental Advisory Council being established to communicate with-the Planning Board. Caroline Bingham asked if the Planning Board could set up a brochure. Supervisor Owens said yes, you may start one to present to the public. The Planning Board should be sworn in for an appointed office. Councilman Linton made a motion that the Town Clerk proceed with swearing in of Town Officials. Councilman VanNederynen seconded the motion. Motion carried. The meeting on the Fire Department Audit was opened at 8:35 pm. Present from the Fire Department were: Roy Barriere - Treasurer and Greg Kirchgessner - President. Bob Mulvey, Town Attorney was present. Absent: Jerry Mickelson, CPA. The Town Board asked Bob Mulvey what his fees would be for his services. Mr. Mulvey stated that his fees would be $90 per hour and no retainer would be needed. He would bill the town. Councilman Linton asked who would contract with the town attorney for services. Should the Town Board establish a policy? Yea, there should be a policy. The Town Supervisor will contact the attorney for services.
