• MINUTES TO THE LAST MEETING OF JANUARY 2, 1991
The minutes to the last meeting of January 2, 1991 were read by Town Clerk
Jean Scofield. Corrections: Councilman Kraft seconded the motion to appoint
Gordon Van Nederynen to the Tompkins County Planning Board. Motion was
carried.
Change Sick Leave Policy to read: "All full-time highway employees will be
granted eight (8) hours sick leave per r month which may be accumulated to 120
days. Upon retirement with ten years of service, employee shall receive one
(1) hour pay for each eight-hour day accumulated for a maximum of 120 hours
(three weeks).
Councilman Linton made a motion to accept the minutes with the corrections.
Councilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried.
MINUTES TO THE AUDIT MEETING OF JANUARY 23, 1991
The minutes to the Audit Meeting of January 23, 1991 were read by Towr1 Clerk
Jean Scofield. Councilman Linton made a motion to accept the minutes as read.
Co=cilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA
Deleted from the agenda were all reports.
0"UNICATIONS
Hector Supervisor, Grant Taber, suggested that possibly Dons Road could be
used for, Townline/County Line/Buck Hill Road problem. There are four Dons
that live on the road.
Supervisor Gray reported that Highway Superintendent David Miller would like
to take bids for a 10 wheel dump truck with snow plow equipment. Councilman
Linton made a motion to authorize the Highway Superintendent to advertise for
bids on a 10 wheel dump truck with snow plow equipment. Bids to be opened on
March 4, 1991 at 2:00 pm in the Highway Garage Office. Councilman Mente
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Town Historian M. Clyde Hubbell stated that there must be a designation of
North and South on the name selected for Townline/County Line/Buck Hill Road.
• A letter was read from Gary Fisher requesting budgets and annual reports for
the last three ,years. Supervisor Gray will respond with a letter.
Amo Houghton will be in Enfield for a Public Informational Meeting on February
15, 1991 from 7:30 pm - 9:00 Pm in the Town Hall.
The official 1990 census population count for the Town of Enfield is 3,054; an
increase of 679 people from 1980.
BILLS
Councilman Linton made a motion to pay General Fund Warrant 2-91 for $7,958.68
and Highway Fund Warrant 2-91 for $5,184.40. Councilman Mente seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
