The regular meeting of the Enfield Town Board was called to order
at 7:30 pm with the following members present:]
Elected Officials:
Supervisor Etta Gray
Councilman Onale Mente
Councilman Andrew Kraft
Councilman Donald Lovelace
Councilman Robert Linton
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
Other Officials:
Town Historian M. Clyde Hubbell
Town Clerk Jean Scofield
Thomas Hughes and Mr. & Mrs Hugh Galt asked about junk ,yard
regulation of fencing around the property.
Jean Owens said the the food distribution will be done in the
Community Building in a few months.
MINUTES TO THE LAST MEETING OF MARCH 6, 1991
The minutes to the last meeting of March 6, 1991 were read by Town
Clerk Jean Scofield. There were no corrections. Councilman Linton
made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Councilman Lovelace
seconded the motion. Motion carried-
ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA
Deleted from the agenda were all reports and under Old Business --
ACE Program/Van. Added to New Business was Policy for Agenda of
Planning Board.
COMMUNICATIONS
A thank you note was received from Amo Houghton for having him here
in Enfield.
BILLS
Councilman Linton question whether the 2 wrecked trucks were taken
off the insurance. Supervisor Gray will check on it. Councilman
Linton made a motion to pay General Fund Warrant 4-91 for $8,764.52
and Highway Fund Warrant 4-91 for $9.407.29. Councilman Kraft.
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
BUCK HILL ROAD
P
Councilman Kraft made a motion to stay with the Enfield town
numbering system on North and :youth Buck Hill Road. A. notice shall
be sent to residents, assessors. Board of Elections and other
proper authorities. Councilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
NEW BUSINESS
JUNK CAR YARD FENCING
Councilman Kraft made a motion to enforce the state law on junk car
,yard fencing.. Two or more unlicensed vehicles are a junk yard.
Permits are to be issued for two or more cars. Councilman Mente
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Supervisor dray will advertise the Town Board decision on the
advice of Attorney Egan.
