Clyde Hubbell Councilman Robert Linton Town Clerk Jean Scofield Councilman Onale Mente Town Justice Dale Townley PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG ORIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR Russ Carpenter requested that the town take care of the Grange' s garbage problem. Troup 50 of the Boy Scouts were in attendance for their completion of a Citizenship Merit Badge. MINUTES OF THE LAST TOWN BOARD MEETING Minutes of the the March 7, 1990 regular town board meeting were read by Town Clerk Jean Scofield. Correction: Elroy Rumsey should be Elery Rumsey. Councilman Linton made a motion to approve the minutes with the correction. Councilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried. MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING The minutes of the March 21, 1990 Special Town Board Meeting were read by Town Clerk Jean Scofield. Correction: it was a recommendation from the insurance company that any social event have a certificate of insurance for $300, 000 not must have certificate of insurance. Another suggestion for a name was Enfield Meeting Hall. Councilman Mente made a motion to accept the minutes with the corrections. Councilman -Linton seconded the motion. Motion carried. It was questioned about the survey to be done on the town property. Supervisor Gray said that the surveyor, Mr. Slade was 80% sure that the town was not on the Jackson property. `CQuncilman Mente made a motion to have Councilman Lovelace take over -the overseeing of the Community Building and obtaining maintenance personnel. Councilman Linton seconded the motion. Motion carried. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA Deleted were all reports. Add Resolution -- Fire Company Members since 1980. COMMUNICATIONS ist of new members of the Enfield Volunteer Fire Company since 1980 eceived. Received from John Caron, Administrator for Special. Programs at Ithaca Schools, the agreement for Town of Enfield Ace Partnership Program for 1989-1990 for $1, 8.00. The minimum amount of time required is 2 days per week. Councilman Linton made a motion for Supervisor Gray to sign the agreement for the ACE Partnership Program. Councilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried. The outside bulletin board will cost $155. 40, Councilman Linton made a motion to purchase the bulletin board and have it put up. Councilman j Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried. BILLS Councilman Linton made a motion to pay General Fund Warrant 4-90 for $2, 284 . 77 and Highway Fund Warrant; 4-90 .for $8,454. 07, Councilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried. OLD BUSINESS Vault Security - Councilman Lovelace is expected to obtain the security plate. Policy for Community Building Use - Councilman Linton suggest that all Board Members suggest to Dori Lovelace any ideas for Community Building, Policy and present it at the next Town. Board meeting. NEW BUSINESS The Town Board agreed that the name of the Enfield Community Building should not be changed. Councilman Linton made a motion for a resolution to accept all the new e members of •the Enfield Volunteer Fire Corripany since 1980. Councilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried. ' Councilman Linton made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Councilman Mente seconded the motion. Motion carried.. Meeting adjourned at 9: 00' pm.
