The Special Town Board Meeting was called to order at 7 :30 pm with
the following members present:

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
COMMUNITY BUILDING POLICY
OThe question was discussed. What to use the Enfield Community
Building (Old. Fire Hall) for?
Supervisor Gray contacted the insurace company and was told that
any social event held in the Community Building must have a
Certificate of Insurance for $300,000 in liability insurance.
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
Marnie Kirchgessner noted that the building needs a better security
system and said there was a need for a secure "caged in" area for
storage for the Community Council . Councilman Lovelace will
. contact Art Covert to change the looks and install security plates
at the building. He will also obtain estimates on costs to make an
are for storage for the Council - Marnie mentioned a need for a
bulletin board for the preschool program. M_ Clyde Hubbell asked
if the town could use a blackboard. He can obtain one from
Cornell. Concilman Mente made the motion to accept the blackboard
from M. Clyde Hubbell . Councilman Lovelace seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
The Town Board will contact Art & Hester Cover about maintenance
and cleaning of the the upstairs. Councilman Lovelace recommended
that the water supply be tested periodically.
It was suggested that -the building's name' be changed from the
Enfield Community Building. Perhaps something like Enfield 'Town
Hall Annex.
It was suggested to continue discussion at next town board meeting-
WASTE -DISPOSAL
The Food Distribution has the most problem with waste disposal
because of rho boxes and food packaging. it was suggested that the
town truck the garbage to the dump for the two town buildings and
the food program or have t;ollins pick up the trash. The cost will
be checked into and be reported back to the Town Board Meeting in
April.
