ATTACHMENT 1 T 0 W N O F E N F I E L D 168 ENFIELD MAIN ROAD ITHACA, NY 14850 July 7, 1989 The following resolution was adopted by the Enfield Town Board at a Regular Meeting held on July 5, 1989. Supervisor Etta Gray presented the resolution to the board, Councilman Linton Robert Linton moved .for its adoption and was seconded by Coucnilman Andrew Kraft. Motion carried. RESOLVED, that the week of July 10 through July 15, 1989 be declared Tompkins County 4-H Acres Youth Fair Week in recognition of the significant role that 4-H plays in the lives of its members and on the occasion of the 1989 Youth Fiar with it' s theme -- 114-H Builds Leaders for Tomorrow" . WHEREAS: The 4-H Program of Tompkins County Cooperative Extension serves the youth of Tompkins County without regard to race, creed, color, or religion, by encouraging participation in leadership develop- ment and educational programs and WHEREAS: The Tompkins County 4-H Acres Youth Fair held at 4-H Acres is the cummination of the year' s activity program and is organized and conducted by and for the members of 4-H and WHEREAS: The Tompkins County 4-H Acres Youth Fair provides an opportunity for 4-H youth to share with their parents, family, friends, and the public the results of the year-long learning and growing process. ATTACHMENT 2 INVESTMENT POLICY RESOLVED that the following banks be and hereby are designated as depositories for Genera). Highwa-y Funds received by the Town of Enfield with permitted maximum deposits at any one time in any one bank of $100, 000: Tompkins County Trust Company The Chase Mahliattan Bank BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Supervisor be and hereby authorized to invest money, not needed temporarily, in United States Treasury Obligations, and various savings accounts and certificates of deposit at prevailing interest rates in any bank authorized for the deposit of Town of Enfield funds as per this resolution. The total deposits, excluding United States Treasury Obligations, are not to exceed the amounts authorized by this resolution, and are to be secured by obligations of the United States of America, the State of New York, or political subdivisions thereof, to the extent deposits exceed FDIC coverage, pursuant to Section II of the General Municipal Law and State Comptroller' s Financial Management Code.
