Meeting Called to order at 7:32 p.m.

Subject of meeting: Notification from Tompkins County Youth- Bureau
that New York State Division For Youth. approved
Town of Enfield Grant Application for DFY 1988
Rollover Money. (Copy of notification attached.)
Motion by Councilman Linton and seconded by Councilman Lanning to accept
grant of $3,600.00 from DFY and match money with $3,600.00 Town money,
and abide by the terms that the money be spent by December 31, 1988,
and that our budget be amended to take the money from Contingency
Account. Motion passed unanimously.
Motion by Supervisor Gray and seconded by Councilman Mente that the
purchases be made by the Town Board by December 31, 1988.
Aye votes: Lanning, Mente and Gray; Nay- votes: Linton and Kraft.
Meeting. Adjourned at 8:35 p.m.

Dear Mrs. Gray:
This letter is inform you that the Division for Youth has
reveiewed and approved your, request for 1988 DFY Rollover funds
in the amount of $3,600.00. Enclosed is your copy of the
approved Budget Amendment (DFY-3131 ) . Please note that your
current contract has increased as follows:

Consumable Supplies (53690) $1 ,200
Equipment Purchases (57900) $2,000
Maintenance and
Equipment Repair (53700) $3,000
Facility Repair (55300) $1 ,000
Also, the list of equipment purchase.s ' is limited to a desk , file
cabinet and copy machine, according to the definition that an
item have a unit cost of more than $100 and a life of 2 years or
more. Should you wish to either purchase additional items yet
remain within the $2,000 limit or substitute items for purchase
please call me with the list of items so that I can submit
another budget amendment (a very easy change) .
Please be reminded that these monies must be expended in
1988. Only approved purchase orders or claims dated prior to
January 1 , 1989 will be honored .
