The Regular Meeting of the Enfield Town Board was held on the above
date with all members present.
Minutes of the previous meeting as submitted by the Town Clerk were
amended as follows:
General Fund to reflect the NYSE&G bill - $456.81.
Mr. Larry Stilwell made a motion to amend the minutes to reflect
the above change. Mr. David Bock seconded the motion. Motion Carried.
Mr. Robert Scofield made a motion to approve the rest of the minutes
as submitted. Mr. David Bock seconded the motion. Motion Carried.
COMMUNICATIONS AND NOTICES
1. Correspondance reference flag prices.
2. Correspondance from Phyllis Howell reference candidates for EOC
nominees with, form for resume. One year terms from April to March.
Mr. Bock thinks Jean Owens interested in serving. Supervisor Roger
Hubbell to call her.
3. Federal Revenue Sharing - Increase $16,150 - EP16.
4. Correspondance from Ed Hughes stating he will be on vacation from
February 4th to February 13th.
5. Youth Council - Summer camps.
6. Supervisor Roger Hubbell advised the board that Don Brown is
resigning position as county representative. Mr. Brown has been
offered a 'ob in Raleigh, North Carolina. Discussion held about
talking with Newfield Town Board to open process and meet candidates
before voting.
PRIVELEGE OF THE FLOOR
1. Jack Hubbell attended a meeting at Dewitt on cemetaries.
TC 3 is offering a course on cemetary management at a cost of $30
with Certificate of Residence. Course starts April 9th for 5 nights
from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Discussion followed and Mr. Roger Laue
stated he would be interested.

OLD BUSINESS
1. Mr. Larry Stilwell questioned the status on the television cable.
Reported to have some trouble with the poles on Rte. 327 Rte. 79 ok.
2. Mr. Roger Laue suggested to set up a meeting for setting up the
guidelines and specifications for takeover of roads.
Mr. Larry Stilwell received a call from Denny Hubbell to set up
a meeting with the board and the fire company reference the building
plans.
Both meetings to be set up the same night - Feb. 25th - Highway
committee meeting to he held at Carlton Thall's at 7:00 PM and
the meeting with the fire company at 8:00 PM at the fire hall.
3. Discussion held on sick leave - Mr. Bock suggested to check with
other places and see how they handle before making decisions.
4. Mr. Roger Laue suggested talking with Newfield Board when they meet
about the renaming of Townline and Thomas roads.
5. Discussion on numbering Iradel Rd.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Discussion on sites for parking in Enfield for people to leave cars
who ride the Watkins to Ithaca Busline. Sites suggested at Miller's
Corners, Kuma's sand Schroeder's.
2. Election redistricting - election board to be 'contacted for procedure
to follow.
3. Mr. Roger Laue commented that the highway department was 'doing a good
job on plowing the roads this winter.
4. Mr. Carlton Thall advised to contract with the county for mowing the
roadsides would be $30 an hour for the machine. States the town needs a
new mower. Mr. Thall also questioned about putting the 'old Brockway up
for bid. Mr. David Bock made a motion to declare the 1:959 Brockway as
.,surplus and to authorize the highway superintendant to seek bids. Mr.
Robert Scofield seconded the motion. Motion carried-.
5. Town Clerk advised the board that she had a call on Sunday from a Mrs.
Miller on Sheffield Rd. , that she had called the SPCA and she was informed
there was nothing they could do but she could contact the town clerk.
