Dear Sir.
As trustee of Dist. 1C, Enfield, Tompkins Co.
I' am sending you a eopy of a letter I received from.
Mr Donnan, our -Dist. Supt
I -would lire to know if this is the proper gray
to do and -should I make out another contract with our
teacher to this effect I' had made a contract with
her for- $22.0-0 per week.
Sup ..should not do anything that was not passed -
- -on by theS=tate Dept - but I can not believe -that the
Iaducationai Repartment of the State of New York is adtising

be apt to -lose all their public money by doing such an
underhanded stunt as that.
It seemsto me that such things as this hav-- helped
put this country where it has been for the boast few. years.
Please -advise mme as to what I should do in -this-matter.
