Subject: 1st working meeting of Comp. Plan's Environmental Focus Group
Greetings,
For those who have expressed an interest in working on this committee, but could not attend last night's
organizational meeting, we are moving ahead! When we get together for our first meeting (as follows) we'll fill you in
on the PB meeting of 11/7/12; it was a very productive, open and tream work -oriented session.
Nancy Spero has agreed to be our meetings' note taker, I will act as team leader, but happy to share this ‘duty' if
appropriate.
Dan Walker will be a huge resource person as well as team member as he has years of comp plan writing experience
and can access much of the material (maps, data, etc.) that we need to ‘digest' into our section.
Our 1st ‘Formal Meeting is at 7:00 PM, Monday, Nov. 19, 2012
Location: 613 Iradell Road, Trumansburg NY ( my home)
Traveling west on Iradell Road, my house is the 1st home on the left (white Greek Revival) after you cross Podunk
Rd. #613 is on the mailbox across from the driveway.
Please call me at 280-0487 to confirm your attendance or if you have other questions.
I have attached the page from the current comp plan that partially addresses the areas we will be working on.
I have also included a letter from Scott Doyle at County Planning and a list of questions (see the last page, in
particular, as those topics address many of the areas we will be looking at.
I have included members' emails below.
