Bassett. The information provided is as follows - Joel A. Bassett born 1763or 6, Stillwater, N.Y. died 5/9/1871, Montour Falls at home of son. Resided in Enfield , N.Y. most of his life, possibly a Baptist. 1st wife, Mary - buried - Enfield , 2nd wife, Huldah - buried - Enfield. The graves of the two wives have been located here in Enfield but Joel A. does not seem to be buried here. Perhaps you might check your recdirds to see if he may be buried in the Montour Falls area ? Sister Bnsiett bad been fan upwards of 14 years a member of the Baptist Church in Sempronius, and for the last 4 or 5 years of her pilgrimage a much beloved and esteemed member of the Baptist Church in Enfield.
