HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-18-1971511 Wed. August 18, 1971 7:30 P.M. Second regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville held at the Town Hall, Terrace Road, Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding. Board members present were, Justices is Ron. Fish and Don Eaton, Councilmen, Sherman Griswold and Ray Miller.. Also present were Rudy Krauklis, BKPR for Supervisor, Town Engineer, Wm Rowell and Town assessor, Henry Wadsworth. Town Clerk read the minutes of the previous meeting and there were no corrections. Justice Eaton read a letter from Stanley Holland of the Co. Health Dept. on an inspection they had made of the Town, land- fill. 04 Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by Mr. Miller that /J '`� the Supervisor p be authorized to go to a Mid West y to investigate City g a waste disposal system, all necessary expense to be paid by the Town of Cortlandville. Bids on the Mower were not accepted by the State and certified check in the amount of $665.00 was returned to the Town. ,O' Motion was made by Justice,Fish seconded by Councilman Miller that the petition to open the Snell Road be denied. This motion was carried. Al Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Griswold that Niagara Mohawk Power Co. be authorized to take down 7 street lights on the Cosmos Hill Road and install 11 new lights, 175 watts, a cost of 226.50 per year. also , to install a new street light on Pole 34 on Highland Road, This motion was carried. There being no further business at this time, meeting was ad- journed. Lelan M.
