Special meeting of the Town Board was held 6/21/1971 at 1:15 P.M.
in the Toren Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York. all members
of the Board were present as follows : Supervisor Frank K. Taylor, prey
iding, Justices ton sh and Don Eaton, Councilmen Ray Miller and
Sherman Griswold, also, Town At#arney John J. Gardner was present.
Whereas the Torn Board has learned that Cain Tractors and
Implements Inc. cannot furnish a new garden and lawn tractor to
specifications be it Resolved, on motion of Ron Fish seconded by
Ray Miller, that bhe bid -of Maxon International, Inc. in the
-I& amount of $999.00 be accepted and Mr. Miller be authorized and
directed to order the tractor -mower from Maxon International ,Inc.
This motion was carried.
There being no further business at this time meeting was adjourned.

J&Uial meeting of the Town Board was held at the Town Hall, Terrace
Road on June 26, 1971 at 9 A.M. Supervisor Frank K. Taylor, presiding,
with Justice Donald Eaton and Sherman Griswold, councilman, present.
o The following resolution was adopted upon motion of Justice
40 Donald Eaton seconded by Councilman Sherman Griswold, all voting in the
affirmative*
Whereas monies have been allocated in the 1971 Budget
in the Town of Cortlandville for Recreation with the Village of McGraw as well
as monies for the purchase of materials for a youth recreation program
in the nature of Arts and Crafts to be used in the Town outside of the
Village of McGraw for a Youth Recreation Program, BE IT RESOLVED, that
the Town Board authorize the Supervisor Frank K. Taylorsign an
application for this project and that the Town Clerkq Lelan Me Brookins
be authorized to sign the Resolution of Certification.
There being no further business at this time ,meeting was adjourned.
