HAPPY NEW YEAR 1971

The first regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town
of Cortlandville was held at the Town Hall at 7;30 P.M., Supervisor,
Frank K. Taylor presiding. Board members present were Justice
Donald Eaton, Councilmen Sherman Griswold and Ray E. Miller,
also present were Rudy Krauklis, book-keeper for Supervisor,,
Town Assessor, Henry Wadsworth, U own Attorney John Gardner Town
Engineer, William Rowell.
I Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by Mr. Miller
that Justice Eaton be appointed delegate to the Assoc. of Town's
meeting.
Supervisor Frank K. Taylor is to be Budget Director for
the year 1971.
Motion was made by Mr. Eaton. seconded by Mr. Miller that
4.3 the Supervisor be empowered to sign agreement with Stearns and
Wheler of Cazenovia for Engineering Service for the year 1971,
this motion was carried.
Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that
the Marine Midland Bank be designated as depository for. Water Dist.
# 1, Water Dist. # 2, Water Dist. # 3 and McAllister Cemetary Funds.
This motion was carried.
Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Griswold
that the First National Bank be designated as depository for the
following funds, General Fund, Sewer Dist. Fund, Highway Fund,
and Trust and Agency Funds. This motion was carried. Further
motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that the
Town Clerk's Tax accounts be deposited in the First National Bank,
this motion was carried.
Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that the
Town Clerks General funds be deposited in the Homer National
Bank.
Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr.
Griswold that the
Cortland Standard be designated
as the Town Official Newspaper,
this motion was carried.

above salary schedule be adopted. This motion was carried.
