Michael Lavine stated he also would be abstaining from
voting on the subdivision as there may be a conflict of
interest due to employment.
COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR
Barbara Caldwell of 1624 Ellis Hollow Road spoke as a member
of the public and not as a member of the Planning Board. The
Caldwell property is one property removed from the proposed
subdivision.
She has known the Travis family for over forty years and
Mr. Caldwell has in the past been involved with work for the
Travis family however he is not involved with this transaction.

concerns which she notes the Planning Board
One being the need for a very detailed drainage plan knowing
the run off of that particular slope. Our home sets back about
300 feet from the road and there is a considerable amount.
The other concerning being sure the profile of the road as
it enters Ellis Hollow is such that people will have ample
opportunity to pull up before entering the Ellis Hollow Road.
The Third concern is the name of the Road itself (Dove Tail)
Dove Drive is relatively close to the property and in case of an
emergency may not be clear where help is needed.

The Planning Board recognized the concerns of the developers
and deviation from the regulations for Town Road
requirements.
B. Caldwell inquired about the type of energy would be at the
development?
• Mr. Barkley would prefer natural gas however it has not been
extended there. He is meeting with electric and gas about
utilities and has not made that determination.

SKETCH CONFERENCE - SCHNURLE /TIER
LIVERMORE ROAD, DRYDEN (2 LOTS)
BARBARA CALDWELL, CHAIRWOMAN
Attorney Van Donsel spoke on behalf of the developers
stating that the parties have a purchase offer with the Nagle
estate to purchase the parcel with the intention of dividing the
lot in half for the sole purpose of building a personal home.
This is the second lot being divided under 10 acres and
therefore needs the Boards approval.

ng Department. A USGS
Mr. Douglas Sutton appeared before the Board proposing a
subdivision of fourteen acres. Proposed to build a Town Road
from the timber road that is currently there. Relatively flat
land with well drained soil. This would finish up the
Eagleshead Road Subdivision. The Board reviewed the map
provided which was not left for the file. Topography map,
survey needed. Address the drainage issue. Each lot is one
acre or more.
