HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-07-18TOWN OF DRYDEN PLANNING BOARD JULY 189 1985 •Planning Board met 7- 18 -85. Chr® Be Caldwell called meeting to order 8:10 P.M. with members Jo Hunt, R. Chase, & ZOO. S. Stewart present. Others present -A. Reed, Co Hardesty, Be Barclay M. Pirsic, G. Miller ,& C. Paige. It was explained things could be discussed but no action could be taken tonight, due to lack of quorum. Discussion of boundary lines for water & sewer engineering study (from Town Bd. meeting, Tuesday 7- 9 -85.) B. Caldwell had looked over A. Reed's land as per his request at last Planning Bd, meeting. Reed said he'd rearranged lot lines to avoid building new roads & wondered what his next step should be.. He'd also talked to NYSEG but not Health Dept. Board suggested he'd need engineer drawing, Health Dept. report, 5' contour map, probably SCS report on soil & drainage. -Also discussed whether or not he'd be ready for public hearing by the Aug. meeting. It was noted he could begin to develop on one lot with permit from Sib without further action from Board. Reed will call when ready to further develop. C. Hardesty & Be Barclay present to discuss sale & development of property on Ellis Hollow Creek Rd. Hardesty is selling to Barclay for 3 lot development (each lot to have approx. 2 acres.) Suggested he would need survey & reports from Health Dept. & SCS before public hearing. Hardesty said they'd contact B. Caldwell if they could have everything ready before Aug. 2nd for notice in paper. M. Pirsic present to discuss his option to purchase approx. 7 acres on Beam Hill Road above Dug Rd. for subdivision. He'd like to put in 5 lot subdivision having been turned down for multiple housing in that area. Wanted to know what his next step should be. Board suggested he check with Health Depto to see what tests required for 5 lots, surve: 2' contour map, SCS report, short EAS form from Sib also check with NYSEG for underground. Pirsic asked if anyone familiar 1171th tests being done on Ash trees in that area. Stated over 100 trees on propert; were labeled, but no one seemed to know why. No one on Board aware of testing. Be Caldwell asked if any objection to her going out to .hook around & familiarize herself with area. Pirsic said that'd be fine & when he had things ready for public hearing he'd call, hopefully in Sep@f B. Caldwell said County doing study by airport for county use of aret, Also had call from Co. Planning Dept. saying Bureau of Census wishes to readjust their census outlines, hoping for update in couple months. No water survey for Ellis Hollow because Be Lavine absent. J.
