Stewart and Due to illness at the Rural News, notice was not published for the public hearing for Mr. Drost. A public hearing will be held at our next meeting of November 15, 1979. The only concern of neighbors is lot #7 which Mr. Drost has not included in the sub - division. Mr. Keech brought an enviromental assessment form concerning his future de- veloping of Mineah Road. A total of seven lots are possible with a minimun of five lots. There are ravines on one side of the road, limiting building to three lots. Chairwoman Caldwell read a report from Soil Conservation Department which stated the prime concern was erosion on the slopes. This was just a very pre- liminary report at this time. Mr. Bonn read the EAF and some things mentioned were: 1) Total amount 2) Total amount 3) Total amount 4) Of-'the 12 ac stripped for 5) Primary soil 6) Construction acres owned - 25 to be developed - 12 undeveloped - 13 res tobe developed only one acre of vegetation will be buildings, roads etc. is gravel time - approximately three years Mr. Keech will be back in the spring with required reports and maps. No further detailed enviromental study will be necessary. A sub - divion of four units on Beechnut Terrace was approved approximately a year ago for Phil Arneson. He would like to divide the seven acre parcel in half. After a short discussion it was suggested he talk to Health Department to see if 20W circles can be put on each lot. Also we will check with Town Attorney about planning board procedure for his request. Other Discussion: Noted a letter received from the state about conducting open meetings. Barbara discussed some things brought up at County Planning Meeting: 1) Car- pooling proposal to be sent to all municipalities. Questions are concerning parking areas and insurance. 2) Multi- county solid waste study of four county. Burnables to be trucked • to site near Cornell for purpose of running their heating plant. Study in early stages. 3) Industrial satisfaction survey where fifty local industries were asked J M Planning Board -2- October 18, 1979' how they felt about varions aspects of community, whether it,:-,be education facilities, utility cost or industry locations. Results should be out to towns shortly. Done for Economic Revisory Committee which reports to Board of Representatives. 4) Ag District #8 - there is a hearing in November. Basically it cuts out a lot of the areas which were designated as water sewer study. It leaves a certain corridor between Yellow Barn Road toward Etna open . Not a corridor between Yellow Barn Road and Dryden village. Respectfully submitted, Joan Bray - Secretary
