Public Hearing was held at the Jiine 1977 meeting on James Murphy subdivision.

offered motion that premliminary presentation be approved subject to Health
t. and road approval.
Rocco Lucente — Warren Buck
Plans for 12 single— family homes to be btiilw on a -
new road, Cardinal Drive
running east of Sapsucker Woods Rd. and parallel to Meadowlark Dr. Mr. buck
said they would. be similar in style and lot size to the homes on Meadowlark
Dr.. where .one is completed and occupied and four others are cinder construction.
:` The'lots all have 100 feet road frontage and are between 1`42 and 254 feet deep.
'Because of questions raised by residents, the Board asked Mr. Lucente to
,.;provide more engineering details before acting on approval. One concern
was about the effect of added traffic on Sapsucker Wiloods Rd. Drainage from the
- ,.area to be developed was another worry residents expressed. They said;the
runoff from the ryw homes and townhouses might be too much for the ditches
u..along Sapsucker Woods, Salem Dr. and other roads in that area. 'They* also
antidipated a potential sewage problem. he development would be tied into
w.the Cayuga Heights sewer system, which Mr. Allen (resident of the Saipsucker
:,Woods 'Area) said already had problems because the terrain is too flat. . Mr.
:Al:len" said "there is a right angle bend in the sewer line near his home on
Sapsucker Woods Rd which clogs up.beca,.ise ;,he drop isn't great enough to keep
the sewage flowing freely. Homeowners in the area wanted to make sire `the
road which will eventually connect Meadowlark Dr. and Cardinal Dr."to Hanshaw
Rd. will join it at a safe place. The new road is expected to meet Hanshaa
Rd. 150 to 200 feet above Ludgate's Vegetable Stand. Further discussion of
L1.1cente development is scheduled for Aug, 189 1977 meeting which will be a
Public _Hearing.
