Town of Dryden
Presents Chairman B. Caldwell, Board b'embers R. Everett, It. hatzke, R. 'lurecek,
ZO S. Stewart, N1. Peck, Planner Mark Trumbo.
Ab�ts Board Member A. Reed, TB Member C. Cotterill.
The meeting opened with Chairman Caldwell informing the Board that Planner Mark
Trumbo was leaving the area.

Flood Plain - Pending - More data will have to be gathered as survey is done.
Silggested a surveyor do this. Zoning maps are together at this point. Sub-
division Ordiance to be reviewed.
County Planning - Fall Creek - Any program for Fall Creek be on a County level,
not state level. County Planning Fortm is scheduled for late January and well
be chaired by Bob Earl. Chairman Caldwell suggested anyone not familiar With
plan, there is a study at County Planning Office. Chairman Caldwell also urged
attendance' al- this meeting.
Vr. Shilio - Grad student from Cornell Univ. Mr. Shilio's interest is in
Conservation. He would like the Planning Board's approval in seeking random
interviews with people concerning their septic system in the 'Town of Dryden. Mr.
Shilo's plains ares

2. Going out into the field to take soil samples aroa nd systems. He will
analyze these samples for nitrate phosphai;e and bacteria and compare his findings
with '?.S. water standards and compile soil characteristics to Soil Survey
through Soil Strndy. If there is a high level of nitrate around system, the
sAnotify v *m is not working properly . If system is not working properly Mr. Shilio
w owner and suggestions will be made on the matter. Chairman Caldwell
s1sted this study world tie in with subdividing in Town. Mr. Shilio designed
a soil map of Town of Dryden sho::ing good soils for systems and not good. biro

Great deal of discussion on Keith Lumphear complex, Dryden lid., Freeville, N.Y.
Recommendations to the 'Town Board follows
1. Square off the original lot �ising the line parallel to Johnson Rd to get the
proper area for original unit.
2. Recommend a 60' right -of -way on the road.
3. Lots closest to the proposed driveway shall not inellnde driveway right -of-
way in computing sq!iare footage.
4. Each building should be on a defined square footage,
such that subdivision could be possible if the owner
in the future. ( including the pole barn.)
5. Recommend that parking access be on the driveway and
Johnson Road except for the duplex with 2 car garage.
