Sewer Reonlations - Effective Sept. 1, 1973 all co!inty Health Depts. had to go
with the decision of wiping olit the 1,000 gal. limit which was requested by the'
Federal government. State review of any sewage system then back to the County
Aincy. This pertains to counties covered by districts.

Board Member Alton Reed attended an Environmental meeting on Water and Sewer in,
Tompkins Co,xnty. Of' 80,000 people in the county, 429000 are served by water and
sewer. This wol.ild be 25 sq. miles. In the fIuLure there will be 3 more sq. mile_
of water and sewer. It was suggested that Dryden in the futur@ might possibly j
