MEMORANDUM TO:
Planning Board
v,
November 4, 1968
FROM: .62ete Curtiss
We will have a special work session on the zoning ordinance this Thursday
(November 7) at my house starting promptly at 8:00 P.M. We may have a quick
informal look at the proposed plan for the Crispell garage on :Slaterville
Road and a new Bob Keech subdivision-on the Miniah Road, but this will be kept
short, we will avoid discussions of the election, and hopefully we will complete
the zoning ordinance revision. Hopefully Mrs. Sienko will be'able to type a
complete revised copy and we can get copies to the Town Board(and ourselves)
by a regular meeting on November 21. We will decide on Thursday whether or not
it would be possible to schedule a public hearing by the end of the month.
Fred Lengemann will not be there; he will not return from a trip
and Sweden until the next day. Please call we if you cannot be there,
see if we can wind it up.
Thanks.

MEMORANDUM T0:
FROM:

November 15, 1968
Our regular November meeting will be held Thursday, November 21, at 8 P.M.
at the Town Hall.
Bob Keech will present plans for a subdivision on Mineah Road (on the
former Fred Williams' property). Probably Crispell will be there with
plans for the construction of their garage and possibly a gas station. We
will also have the final maps for the Wink Brown minor subdivision or_ Ellis
Hollow Creek Road,
Although I have not heard from them, MNORX may be there with preliminary
information on their possible real estate and subdivision plans.
If there is time left we want to continue our detailed discussion on signs
and the remaining few sections of the ordinance. Although we did a fine job
of "cleaning up" and shortening the junk yard section, the complications of
sign regulations slowed our progress and opened several new questions. Sign
control is'important and we should have this part tied down well.
The "bring us up to date" meeting planned by Mrs.-Sienko and Ellis Hollow,
and snowed out by last. Tuesday's winter wildness, had been moved up a week,
cancelled again (conflict in the Hollow) and moved to the 21st (our regular
meeting) without our knowledge. Gary Lee could be there, but no one else,
including Emmons, and this seemed unwise. Cancelled again. At present I
have not heard from Mrs. Sienko, but the meeting will be held later and perhaps
I'll know by the 21st.
Enough for now. See you on the 21st.
full and interesting meeting.
Thank you.
