"In the event that'a PB member does not attend three successive '
regularly scheduled planning board meetings it shall be the duty of.
the Chairman of the PB to contact him to determine whether or not
extenuating circumstances have led to his absence. If none are
apparent, the Planning Board shall recommend. Lto the Town Board to
contact said member relative to seeking resignation, and i,f he misses
the next two regularly scheduled meetings the PB may recommend to the
Town Board that the member be asked to resign. If the 'member refuses
}
to °"resign then regular removal procedure ma y'be instituted."
Other by -laws will be adopted as time permits, but it seemed most
important that the leave of absence situation be clarified for Ben '
She,ffy and Fred Lengemann..
An earlier communication from Mr. Shapely requested conditional'
approval on his minor subdivision pending receipt of Tompkins County
j Health Department approval. Approval was given with the condition
;that copies of such approval be submitted to the PB within three months.
