• TOWN PLANNING BOARD, TOWN OF DRYDEN, NEW YORK FEBRUARY 17, 1966
The Planning Board for the Town of Dryden met Feb. 17, 1966 in
the Town Hall at 8:00 P. M. with members Sheffy, Hanford, Lengemann,
Hardesty, Reed, Paterson, and Chairman Curtiss in attendance. Mr.
Denman, Rural Consultant on House Numbering, and Emmons Ogden were
also present.
Under the first order of business, L. B. Hardesty presented
several copies of a Minor Subdivision on which approval had been
granted by the Planning Board quite some time ago. He stated that
the land along side of this property is now owned by him. A finished
survey has now been completed. The official stamp of the Planning
i Board was put on these copies by Chairman Curtiss and two copies were
returned to the subdivider, L. B. Hardesty.
Mr. Hardesty then presented a Major Subdivision known a THE
KIv'OLL TREES, The Planning Board complimented Mr. Hardesty such
a well - planned and well -drawn Major Subdivision. The members agreed
to call a public hearing at our next regular meeting, March 17, 19666
Four maps with 'easements and four copies of the Health Dept, certificate
will be prepared for this meeting.

Dr. Sheffy moved, and Alton Reed seconded, that Malloryville
Road be split east and west at Fall Creek Road.
Chairman Curtiss agreed to check with George Junior Republic for
their views on the name of the road in their immediate area.
It was a unanimous decision that Preeville north on 38 be called
Groton Road.
Several minor changes were discussed concerning road names.
It was felt that it would be advantageous to have Mr. Denman_
Dresent on the future hearings.
Chairman Curtiss had prepared a letter to Mr. Sadd of the Honey -
Butter. Products Corp. This letter includes further requirements and
adjustments to the present sketch plan inorder that final approval
can be made by the Board. A copy of this letter will be attached to_
the Secretary's notes.
Hr. Ogden reported that the Town Board recommends that a Certificate
•of occupancy be obtained by new home owners. He stated that the sub-
divider, when building, will be able to give the new owner something
to show for his tax dollar.��
The Town,Board also wished Tir. Ogden to report to the Planning
Board concerning the forming of an advisory committee for the purpose
of studying recreation problems, etc. Two members from each voting
district will be named (14 members in_ all) and will be a non - partisan �

The meeting was concluded at the stroke ��
of midnight. The next
meeting is scheduled for Harch 17, 1966.

Journal Prior to March 11, 1966:
Please Take Notice that the Planning Board of the Town of Dryden
will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Section 276 of the Town
Law on the application of Mr. L. B. Hardesty for approval of a
subdivision plat entitled "The Knoll Trees". Said subdivision is
located on the west side of Genung Road,
Said Hearing will be held on the 17th day of March 1966, at the
Town offices at 8 p.m., at which time a?1 interested persons will
be given an opportunity to be heard.
