Our recommendation to the Town Board at their meeting on January 11 will now be that Hanshaw Road make the north turn at the intersection of Lower Creek Road (and Monkey Run) and continue as Hanshaw Road up to the West Dryden Road, Lower Creek Road will 'remain the same as it is now. We j hope that in the near future more adequate signs will reduce the danger and help eliminate confusion on this intersection. In making this change the Planning Board has not altered its original preference in giving the north -south section of the Hanshaw Road and the • Zeman Road a new name. However, we expect that this new recommendation will meet with your approval and we hope that it proves to be a satisfac- tory solution. At least with new house.numbers, continuing from the Ithaca line to the West Dryden Road, there should no longer be any confusion by fire companies or emergency vehicles. Such services will be provided with your new number and eventually a revised Town map. As was mentioned pre - viously, you should be receiving your new house number before Spring. Using this figure and referring to the amended contract you will be able to figure the approximate cost of the survey. Since it will be some time yet before all problems are settled and a final Street List is completed we would appreciate payment of a minor portion of the cost. Yours truly, kill ?. H.
