HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-07-18Dryden Youth Commission July 18, 2000 Minutes Attending: Penny Green, Kristen Blackman, Mary Bachner, Karen Coleman Absent: Walt Matyjas, Nita Baldwin, Jean Simmons, Tracy Kurtz. Summer program update — programs are going well, good attendance at the programs. Marie Holl is interested in the part time position as program manager. Details of the job description will be discussed at the Sept. meeting. Members present recommended that CCE hire Marie, this was the general consensus at the June meeting. Work is going well with the Conservation Corp. will be working on a trail at Varna Community Center at the end of the summer. Currently have 8 youth employed. Karen noted that we should work with Reba Taylor earlier in the year next year. Re: summer camps, and youth jobs. Meeting adjourned. No August meeting September meeting will be a budget/allocation meeting. It will be important to have everyone here.
