Approval of December Minutes
There was no December 2024 meeting; therefore, there were no minutes.
Presentation
Ray Burger made a presentation on the structure of Town of Dryden government, services, and
volunteer committees as part of an orientation for members.
Anne suggested that the various volunteers/committees/boards (1.5 minutes, perhaps) have a
link to a video (created by students, perhaps?) on the Town webpage with an overview of what
each group does. Members were enthusiastic about this. Alice said that the recording of part of
today’s meeting could be used for orientation for other groups/committee members.
Overview
Alice Green gave an overview of the Town of Dryden’s participation in the Clean Energy
Communities and Climate Smart Communities programs. Jerry Sheng added information about
the current status of the programs and Dryden’s involvement.
Brief Discussion about a grant the Town applied for to bring a reuse center to town.
Clean Energy Community Actions Review
High Impact Actions are no longer being accepted. There is no official new guidance.
2
Jerry says this program may be sunsetting - NYSERDA will be focusing on closing out current
grants.
