Report from Athena on Rural Youth Services
Summer programs are now open.
OURS position is posted.
There will be a summer Olympics at the end of July.
David Hall was recently celebrated for his work and programs he provides to Dryden youth.
Report from Kate on Tompkins County Youth Services
Reviewed the vitality checklist.
Information provided on current plans from TC Legislature to not include a COLA increase
to county contracts. Additional information explained about the County budget and cuts that may
be made.
Leslie informed the group that Tompkins Whole Health reached out to her to discuss Dryden
recreation needs. They are compiling a report and Leslie has asked them to include potential grants
that can be sought to further support active recreation in Dryden. She will update DRYC as she
receives more information.
RFP to hire a consultant for the Town Lands was finalized. Dates were discussed for potential
timeline. Leslie will update and send to the Town Board to approve in June.
James motioned to approve the RFP.
