Report from Kate on Tompkins County Youth Services: They are currently looking for a project
assistant and working on the 2025 budget season. The Vitality checklist was not available yet,
Kate will review that with DRYC at the next meeting.
Marty provided an update on the status of current programs which are running well.
There was further discussion on the current RFP that will be going out to develop the Town
Lands. The Workforce and Affordable Housing Committee provided their own version of the
RFP to review. DRYC discussed what to incorporate with plans to provide a new version to the
Housing Commitee and Conservation Board to get their final comments before finalizing the
RFP at May's meeting. Peck will be attending the Conservation Board meeting to discuss their
concerns with the wetlands.
Discussion about wetlands and obstacles that may be faced when having to deal with permits
with DEC. Preferable that the fields are not too close to the highway.
