The Special Meeting was called to order at 6:00PM, by Chairwoman Graham and stated as
follows.
This is not a rehearing. It is a special meeting to acknowledge receipt of Mr. Bartolini’s missive
and a chance to clarify what we did and did not rule on.
We didn’t make any determination other than to declare the issue/request moot and dismissed
without prejudice. Moot was an appropriate response because our ruling would have had no
practical impact. This happens to be one of the criteria for declaring an issue moot that Mr.
Bartolini does not mention in his letter.
The request in front of us was to determine whether or not a code officer’s denial of a zoning
permit was correct or not. We did not make an interpretation and did not rule on this.
We did not rule on nor do we ever have any involvement regarding electrical repair permits.
