Roth of CCE-Tompkins brought revised/updated maps to be reviewed for final updates by this committee. She went to the Planning Board and discussed the parcels that AAC had talked to her about previously. The Planning Board didn’t feel there was a need to remove a lot of parcels. Discussion ensued regarding the parcels in both the Village of Freeville and the Village of Dryden. Committee reviewed the maps. Monika will reach out to a few property owners with questions as far as if the parcel is being farmed. M. Roth advised that the steps are as follows: • She’ll put together a list of removals and send a letter to the landowners to determine if they will be removed. • Hoping to have wrapped up by the 22nd for the Ag & Farmland Board. • Goes to the Planning Advisory Board of the County by the end of February • Legislative Committee around that time • Public hearing in April • We then make the final changes • Legislative meeting – adopt changes • NYS for certification CCE- Tompkins has hired Monika’s replacement. She will bring him to one of our meetings and introduce him to us. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE M. McRae attended a meeting on the Comprehensive Plan Update this evening prior to this meeting.
