The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
New Business
Craig Anderson from the Dryden Planning Board came to provide a status report on the
Comprehensive Plan update.
• Last year the Town Board charged the Planning Board with updating the current
Comprehensive Plan.
• The Planning Board has hired a Syracuse planning firm, Environmental Design &
Research, EDR, to be the project lead consultant.
• The first step in the process is to document community goals and the future vision
residents have for Dryden.
• To start this public engagement process, EDR will be conducting three community
stakeholder group meetings in February.
• The Planning Board will also be seeking the public's input by conducting outreach
meetings with different Civic groups, the general public and the Town's Advisory
Boards/Committees. Approximately 23 of these meetings are scheduled over the next 30
days. One of these meetings includes the Ag. Committee.
A discussion occurred regarding the Comprehensive Plan update.
There being no further business, The meeting was adjourned at 9:07 p.m.
