Weinstein explained the new proposed development for Varna. 29

d. Ad Hoc Agriculture Committee - N. Munkenbeck 34
Schutt commented that there was a meeting held, in which Josh and Dan presented the 35
Virtual Farmers Market website: Dryden.ny.us/virtualfarm. 36

e. Other Town Boards and Commissions - Jane Nicholson 38
Nicholson commented that the Varna Plan won an award from the New York Planning 39
Federation. Nicholson and Dan Kwasnowski will be accepting the award at the New 40
York Planning Federation Conference on April 22. She said that the Varna Plan will be 41
submitted for an award with the American Planning Association in September. She 42
explains that they did not receive the STEP award. 43

a. Discussion of draft review for Twin Sheds Unit Management Plan (written response 46
due by 7 April) - R. Beck 47
Beck discussed the Twin Sheds Unit Management Plan and expressed that he feels it 48
was well written and thorough. 49

b. Discussion of draft resolution for addition of non-voting members to Conservation 51
Board - C. Schutt 52
Schutt discussed the draft resolution and the comment Lavine had, which was to change 53
wording in number 4. 54

Nicholson explained that the Conservation Board doesn’t have authority to create 56
position of alternate members and that it has to be a function of the Town Board and it 57
requires amendment to the local law. She explains the process that would then have to 58
take place if the Board chooses to go further with the addition of a non-voting member. 59

Nicholson recommended adding a bullet under each item for public comments. 61

The Board continued to discuss their opinions on the addition of non-voting member to 63
the Conservation Board. 64

Munkenbeck entertained a motion to go forth with the draft and send it to the Town 66
Board. 67

Motion tabled due to tied voting. 69

Workshop planned for September on stream buffering on Fall Creek organized by Fall 73
Creek Watershed Committee and Community Science Institute - D. Weinstein 74
Weinstein discussed possible future plans for workshop on stream buffering. 75
