A public hearing 'to conSi. der the application submitted by JOHN AND BRUCE
GLEBE , D / B / A / JEANNA ' S RESTAURANTof 1414 Dryden Road , Freeville , New York
to install a Free - standing sign closer than the required 15 feet from the
edge of the public highway right - a -way and is requesting a variance to
section 1501 of the Dryden Town Zoning Ordinance .
A public hearing wac. duly conducted by the Town of Dryden Board of Zoning
Appeals on Tuesday , November 3 , 1991 with members present : Chairman John
( Jack ) Baker , Dominic Bordonaro , Francis DiTommaso and Ann Everett .
FINDINGS :
1 . This is a unique situation caused by the States purchase of
additional lands for drainage purposes .
The proposed sign setback exceeds the original setback
requirements l. s specified in the Zoning Ordinance , so they are in
compliance with the spirit of the Town Zoning Law .
Ann Everett moved that Jenna ' s Restaurant receive the variance as
requested .
The motion was second by Fran DiTommaso .
