Present were : (Supervisor Gridley , Justices Spaulding , Whitford , Councilman Baker and Hwy Supt . Bead. . Justice Shaw was absent . The minutes of ( the Sept . meeting were read for information . Moved by Justice Whitford , seconded by Justice Spaulding that the Hwy . bills totaling $ 3 , 384 . 49 , be paid as audited . Roll call vote taken , all voting YES- . Moved by Councilman Baker , seconded by Justice Spaulding that • the Insurance bill of $ 231 . 32 , be paid by Supervisor Gridley after . he confers with thefAgt . Mr . Hammond , if all ok . Moved by Justice Spaulding , segonded0by Councilman Baker that the General bills totaling $ 707 . 22 , and the Youth Comm . bills of $ 174 . 35 , be paid as audited . Roll call vote taken , all voting YES . 1 The following Resolution was made by Justice Whitford , seconded . by Councilman Baker ', Whereas , in Item 1 , Special Improvements , and • 4 General repairs are '' deleted , Be it resolved that $ 791 . 57 and $ 2000 . 00 be transferred from Item I Contingent Fund to the above named Accounts respectively . Dimock , who was previously appointed will not be able to serve on Election Day . • 251 ii Justice Whitford offered the following resolution and asked its adoption : I RESOLVED , that this Town. '.Board does hereby prepare and a approve as the preliminary budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning on the first day tnf Januarys 1958 , the itemized Statements of the estimated revenues and the expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this resolution , and be it FURTHER RESOLVED , that such preliminary budget shall filed in the officelof the Town ' Clerk where it dhall be available for inspection. by any interested person at all reasonable hours , and be it , FURTHER RESOLVED , that this Boardshall meet between the hours of 8 : oo and 9 : 00 P . M . on the 7 th day of Nov . 1957 for the purpose of hiding a public hearing upon such preliminary p' budget , and be it FURHE1rRESOLVED , that the Towh Clerk give novice of such public hearing in the manner provided in Sec . 113 of the Town Law , and that such notice be published . This Resolution was seconded by Justice Spaulding . Roll call vote , all voting YES . The Fall road tour will be held Nov . l , starting at 9 : 30 a . m . from Justice Spauldings ' . George Guest ' was present to discuss road names with the Town Board . No action was taken . These minutes were read and approved . The next meeting will be held Nov . 7 , at7 : 00 p . m .
