11 June 3 , 1957 .
The Ragular monthly meeting of the Dryden Town hoard was
held at the Town Office Building on June x , 1957 at 7 : 30 Pm .
Present were : Supervisor Gridley , Justices Shaw , Spaulding ,
Whitford , and Councilman Baker .
The May minutes were read for information .
Mrs . Katrina Morse , Mr . George Guest and Mr . Frank Hanshaw
were present in regard to the Planning Commission . After much
discussion , it , was decided that each Board member select a
Representative from " hishdistrict , and askthat they meet on June
28 th at the Town Office at 8 : 00 PM . to organize the group .
Keith Hatfield ')'Iwas present and presented the following petition :
We , the undersigned , petition the Board of the Township of
Dryden , to abandon the Town Dirt Road running North and South from
State Route 13 to the junction of the Gulf Hill Road and the Huff
I
Road , a distance of approximately one mile .

Moved by Justice Whitford , sec•onded by Justice Shaw that the
Supt . of Hwys . post Ito abandon the section of the Livermore road
from route 13 . to the Junction of the Gulf Hill Road and Huff road
a distance of app . one mile.; Carried , and so ordered .

A communication was read from . Mrs . Hugh Holley asking for their
known as the Monkey - Run road , n `r
roadie be given consideration to alleviate the dust problem .
Moved by Justice . Shaw , seconded by Justice Spaulding that the
Monkey Run Road from Route 13 to the Railroad be dust treated . Carried
Moved by Justicl"e Spaulding , seeonded by Justice Whitford that
2 lb . salt and 1 lb . '; calcium , per Sq .. yard , be used on the
Erwin roads . Carried '.
Moved by Justice Shaw , Seconded by Justice Spaulding that the
General bills totaling $888 . 98 , Health bills of $ 35 . 00 , and the
Youth Commission bills totaling $ 135 . 02 , be paid as audited . Roll
call vote taken , allIvoting YES .
Moved by Justice Whitford , seconded by Councilman Bakerthat
the Hwy . bills totaling $ 2 , 976 . 44 be paid as audited . Roll call
vote taken , all voting Y. S .

Moved by Justice Whitdord , seconded by Justice Spaulding , that
the slate of Election Inspectors submitted by E . F . Brundage and
Chandler Morse be accepted . Motion carried and so ordered . The
