The regular monthly meeting� of the D r y d en T own Board
w as held at the ';Town Office Building , Tuesday evening , Sept . 4. at 7 : 30P . M .
Prestent were Supervisor Gridley , Justices Baker , Spaulding
Shaw and . Whitford , Assessor Abrams , Highway Supt . Beach and Town
Attorney , Charles Newman . .
Minutes of. the August meeting were read for . information.
Attorney Newman talked to the Board of the case of John LoPinto
✓ ersus the Town on his assessment . ,
Moved by Justice Spaulding , seconded by Justice Baker that
Town Attorney Newman act as Attorney for any Tax Case of the Town
for the current year , including the John LoPinto caee . Roll call , all
✓ oting YES .
Moved by Justice Shaw , seconded by Justice Spaulding that
Attorney Newman contact one or more appraiser In regard to
appraising the LoPinto property , as to the cost of appraisal to the
Town and the time it would take . Also to etpioyee another attorney
o f his choosing in the case if he deems it necessary . Roll call , all
voting YES .
Mr . Frank kemolee and Mrs . Mattli of the Snyder Hill Area
were prisent to see if the town would take over a road from the
Snyder Hill Road to Mrs . Mattli ' s home if she whuld build the road
and then deed it to the town. There was much discussion as to
possibilities of • a new development . No action was taken.
Moved by Justice Shaw , seconded by Justice Spaulding. thgt the
gpneral bills totaling $163 . 77 and the Youth Commission bills
totaling $ 315 . 43 be paid as audited . Roll can vote , all voting YES .
Moved by Justice Whitford , seconded by Justice Baker that the

highway bills totaling $4 , 445 . 15 be paid as audited . Roll call vote ,
all voting YES .
Moved by Justice Baker , seconded by Justice Spaulding that
_. the resignation of Ann Moravic as election inspector of district
Four be accepted . Motion carried.
Moved by Justice Baker , seconded by Justice Spaulding that
John F . Ockay be appointed to fill the vacancy left by Ann. Moravic
as election inspector of District Four . Motion carried .
There was discussion on the sales tax . The following opinions

were expressed ; Baker , Shaw , and Whitford favored a sales tanSpaulding
abstained .

Justice Shaw will attempt to set up a meeting date for
interested parties of the Planning Comm$ fsion .
The next reguzlar board meeting will be held Wednesday
u October 3rd at 730 PM , • . .
. The minutes were read , corrected , and approved .
Moved by Justice Whitford , seconded by Justice Shaw , that
this meeting adiourn . Carried .
