The regular meeting of the Town. Board of Dryden was held
Monday . Belay ` 5 , 1952 at . 7 : 30 P . M . ' at the Town Clerk ' s ' Office .
Present were Supervisor Downey , Highway Superintendent Stacy
Beach and Justices Spaulding , Whitford , Shaw and Baker . Supervisor
. Downey presided .

Minutes ' of the regular meeting were read. for information .
The minutes for the special meeting April 7 were read and
approved .
•
• A report was made by the insurance committee . The decision was
made to leave some insurance in George Bailey ' s hands .
Motion was made by Justice Shaw and seconded by Justice Baker to
insure the garage with the Dryden Groton Co . for $ 6000` . Motion was
carried . .
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded ' by Justice Shaw that all
• general bills amounting to # 573 . 73 be paid as audited . Carried by
a roil ball vote with all Justices voting Yes .
` . . -- Moved by Justice - Whitford and seconded -by _ Just .ice Baker that
all highway -bills amounting to # 975 . 21 be 'pai.d as audited . Carried
by a "roli call •vote with all Justices voting Yes .

A letter was read from the voting machine company that one can
be delivered about Sept . ]. for Mae- F . O . B . from Jamestown . Motion was
made by Justice Whitford and seconded by Justice Shaw that another
Noting machine be purchased . Carried by a roll call vote with all
ustices voting Yes .

Motion made by Whitford and seconded by Justice Shaw that the
new voting machine be placed in the regular voting place in District
No . 1 and make no changes in the voting district . Carried by a roll
call vote with all Justices voting Yes .
Justice Baker reported tha t the - roof on the West Dryden Church
had been repaired in a satisfactory manner . The painting was partly
completed . • A meeting was to be held to complete the project .

Moved by Justice Shaw and seconded by Justice Baker that the
Town Clerk . dispose of insurance policy prior to 1946 . Motion carried .
Moved by Justice Whitford and seconded by Justice Baker that
the Town Clerk be instructed to write Mrs . Holley that something will
be done to prevent. the dust nuisance on the Monkey Run road . Motion
carried ; . •
Moved by Justice Whitford and seconded by Justice Spaulding that
•
. the Highway men be paid 10 cents more an hour . Carried by a roll call
. vote with all Justices voting Yes . ,
Meeting was adjourned without motion . •
