Now. . 3 1945 .
The town: board meet at the office of the ' town clerk for regular meeting ,
with all justices present supv . bowney presidimg .
The minutes of last meeting were read for information . Mr , Harris of the
German Cross road was present , asking that something be done about drainage
near his place . The board agreed to visit his place in the near future and see
p; what could be done about it . - •
itelfare statement was read , and the welfare officer ask what could be
done about a heap of ashes in the rear of Elsie Olmstead property , Hoagland
moved that the welfare officer hire them removed seconded by Beck and carried .
General bills were read and Baker moved they be paid as: read seconded. . _ .
by : Spaulding and carried by a roll call vote .
4ighway bills totaling $ 1912 . 00 were read and a motion was made by
Hoagland that they be paid as read , seconded by Beck and carried by a roll -11
vote .
The Supv , gave imformation regarding the compensation insurance for the
=maul Fire company and stated that he had found that sour firemen were
not covered , and that he had applird for a binder for 15 days untill he could
take the matter pp with the County .
Bock moved that a binder be taken out on the Neptune Hose Co . , , when on
call) for the town ar 15 days . . seconded by baker and carried .
The matter of compensation for the custodians of voting machines was •
- discussed and a motion was made by Baker to pay each custodian 440 . 00 seconded
by Cornelius and carried by a roll call vote All yes but Spaulding who did not

The town board meet aththe office of the town clerk for all day meeting
to audit yearly bills , after bills were audited tha board took up the matte
• of insurance protection for the firemen . Lawyer Newman was preent , as also
was Dr . R . A . McKinney who represented the firemen . Mr . Newman advised rea
garding the law covering the drawing of a contract , public hearing and Etc .
Spaulding moved that the SupervisoR request that the Volenteer firemen -
in the town of Dryden be included in . the County and CTown workmans
compensation plan while on duty , seconded by Baker and carried ,
The matter of useing the town machinery on private owned peroperty ,
was discussed , and as a result peck moved that ; whereas this town board
has been advised that it is illegal to use town machinery on private
property there ore this town board requests the town Supt . not to use the
town machinery on private property except in the Stil conservation Dist .
seconded by spaulding and carried . qhe minutes were read and approved . •
Upon motionmeeting wasradjourned .
