The town board met at the office of the town clerk with a full attend-
ance ; Sweetland as chairman-. Minutes read and approved . Welfare bills and sta -
tement - read as follows;

Spaulding and carried by a roil call vote .
General and highway bills readand a motion was made by "" eck to pat as

and the job completed . The cost for paint two coats , lumber for minor repairs ,

The town board met at the Varna Hall , at a P . t ' for Public Hearing on
the 1944 . Budget . All justices were present , Sweetland acted as chairm,
ill The notice of hearing as published was read by the clerk , and the new .
budget presented to the public . The clerk was ask to explain about
the Salary of the clerks office . The clerk told of the revenues of th
, , office , and also gave a comparison of revenues , of The past 3 years
and the present year .
Attorney Newman waspresent and' gave advice when requested , AS
there was no objections to the budget as read , ans after consideratio
- by the board the attached budget was accepted and the resolution.
