The minutes_ of the last meeting- were read and approved . A letter fron_ L .
Thaler was read staying that he did not think it neccessary at this time to eater
into the Kingdom farms c se ' , arnd that he had made inquiries and etc . for which
he presented a . bill for $ 10 ..00 , The claek reported± that she had talked the matter
of_ payments over with THaler and he had agreed to wait for payment untill 1944 , as
there was no money available in the 1943 fund. .
A bill from Lee Tripp for gas for May was read and Cornelius. moved: to pay as
read second-6e by pailding and carried by_.- a rolli call vote .

A letter from the Grey: ho aw buss Co . asking for a permit to run a buss for
commut,%ers : through Etna was read , and as thee rwasealread1 operating under any
authorization from the public service comm . a - motion was:_ made - by Downey; to
authorize the clerk •. to write to the greyhound lin inc . and find out why they could_
not continue to operate under the present authority of the war zwg#k council
seconded by Beck and carried by;.: a roll call vote .
Downey:" ask about the painting of the Olmstead house and a motion was made
by Cornelius= to paint the house ortexemat the house the amount not to exceed 4200 . 0
under the supervision of the comma Downey , seconded by Spaulding and carried by
a roll call vote .
The highway funds were discussedand a moyion was made by Baker for the clerk_
to write Bert Vann explaining the circumstances regarding the building of a vault
for storage of town papers , in connection with the town shed and paid for from
Item 3 highway . Learn if it would be possiable to pay the amount of cost of this
vault from the general fund and deposit same in the highway Item 3 secconded by
Cornelius and carried by a roll call vote , . Clerk ask as to the proceedure of
appointing an inspecter of elections to fill vacancy , Supv . advised her to call
^ omen , of elections . Upon motion meeting adjourned .

A motion was made by Beck to pay as read seconded by Downey and carried
by a roll call vote;
General andihighway bills read and a motion- was madr by Cornelius to
pay as readrif the money is available " inthe proper funds to docso . Seconded by
Baker and carried by a roll call vote . ,
The clerk read a copyrof a letter which she had wrutten to Bert Vann
concerning the re -payment of coat of vault which was added to the new town
shed , for the clerks papers , and reported that verbal opinionnhad been given by
Mr . Vann that it could be paid for from the general fund , altho no written ans ,
had been recieved .
The chairman gave his opinionthat the new doors for the building could
be patbd for from - the Town ' s general fund , therefore a motion was made by
Cbrnelius to5pay for the door* 472 . 00 - . 02% discount in ten days from delivery ,
and the difference of cost of doors and vault from the general fund to take
care of the entire cost of the two . unit$s machine shed and vault , seconded by
Downey and carried by a roll call vote ,

cesspotte on the Elsie Olmstead` property . The clerk was._ authorizes to write
the MacGillivrays that the board did not approve of the request . .
r Mr . Downey as comm . reported that he had beem. approached concerning the
purchase of the hen - house on the eOlmstead proprty , clerk read: the contract
concerning the sale of the barn which did not include the hen house . : •

ephone Co . concerning property in West Dryden-. .
The Supt of Highways reported that the doors for the new shedhad a
arrived and were at the depot , and also gave a report on road work .
Downey re a committee reported on the raizing of the barn an yhe 0
Olmstead. plaice= that it was nearly all removed and what was left had been
- given- to a needy family and suggestedthe time of removal on the contract
be extended to permit them to remove the wood, which was& agreedto by the
entire board . Upon motion meeting was adjourned .
