The minutes of last meeting read and approved . .
Frank Monroe of Varna was present asking- the town for aid in preventing
the creek from washing away the bank , from the back of his property , in Varq - .
The board discussed this at length with Mr . Monroe an it was agreed that

Mo roe would make some inquiries and find out if any assistance could be

Justuce Spaulding reported that Etna had raised their portion for a siren
aslagreedat a resent meeting and Justice Downey moved that the towns accept

Two sealed bids for the Olstead barn were opened and read , both bids include
t - hen house , which had not been advertised for sale, amt I0 . 00 & II . 00 ,
The following is the terms agreed upon by the board , Purchaser to deposit
with the town clerk the sum of ten dollars plus the purchase price , barn only ,
same to be entirerl removed and site cleared to ground level within thirty days

was preaentt requesting the purchase of the barn on the Elsie Olmstead
lot with a strip of land of about 35 rods , , and made an offer of 450 . 00
for same.; . A motion was made by Baker to find out through L . Thaler ' if the
land could be sold legally . seconded - by •downey • and carried by a roll call vote
Dr . McKinney was present, and ask about the purchase of . a sirenfor Etna .
