A motion was made by Cornelius . to pay Hines * 7 . 00 the amt . ask as per
month , since the board was notified4I/2 MO . 'seconded by Munsey and carried
by a roll call vote , as follows Beck No Cornelius Yes , Baker: Yes ,

appointed nap . of Elections :. in Dist No . 6 to f i11 a�. vacancy caused by . the
death of arry Tucker-. A motion was made=: by Spaulding to - appoint Randall Smith
to that position seconded by Cornelius and carried by a roll • call. vote .
THree bills_ were read Y ; ildred Schutt for Gravel , Rumsey Grate- and AMM4
Fletcher Printing . A motion was made by Baker to pay same as read, seconded
by Cornelius and carried by a roll calla vote . The bill for insurance on Votin
machines was read' . Spaulding moved to accept the policy and - to pay premium , as
read; seconded by- Baker and carried by a roll- call:. vote . Al ]! yes//
The clerk reported on a meeting held in the court house in regards to care
ing for public records and the responsibility of the Town Board and: Clerk ,
or same , and also presented to the board leaflets : , on the law , covering the
care of town records . Upon motion meeting adjourned .

discuss what response to make, in: regards to- a summons
served- on t$fiTown Clerk , . A . J . ines :, Pi tiff against the town . of Dryden;
.T'heoant :ce stating the reason of the meeting was read by the clerk
an& also the Summons . motion was made by Spaulding , to empower the Towne:
clerk to employe* an attorney to advise in answering the suiiinons served on the
town of` Dryden: seconded by Cornelius and carried by a roll - bail vote all yes
who voted: no .
A motion was made by Munsey to hire the regular town attorn2y
THayler , seconded by Cornelius . Carried by a roll call vote all yes but Beck
who did riot vote,. In case Mh Thaylor would : not be able to take charge of -
the case , the seconded choice was LaPinto . .
A letter was read from Chas . Newman in regards to the new . budget
system , . and offering 7o attend a: town meeting later to assist and advise
in preparing - the budget . It was agreed to have Mr Sweetland arrange: with Newma;
to attend such a meeting, when it would be convenient to Newman ,
a motion was made and seconded and carried to pay a delayed bill tp
the Finger lake chemical co . • Upon motion meeting adjourned, ..
