Elections , A motion was made by Cornelius : to defer the appo icti ene of such
officers untill the mid month meeting, or such time as the -list were completed
and presented . Seconded by Spaulding and' .Caer. ied by a roll call vote . all yes%
A motion was made by GQr. e. ius to 14oin the Associations of Towms , seconded 1
by Baker and Carried by a roll call vote . all tea .
After a disscussion regarding the number of: Constabl1es needed in the town
. A motion was made by Beck to do away with all but two , Andcmoved- that Ira Reed
and- Randall Smith be reapointed , setanded - by Cornelius and carried by a roll
call vote all yees . . The Clerk was also ask to ask the old Constables to return
All property . furnished to them_ by the town . ' The 'clerk ask that , Jennie
Stevens , be appointed as deputy Town Clerk . Which was moved and carried .

The town board meet at the office of the town Clerk for regular
meeting . All justices present excpt . ' Spaulding . Buoy . Sweetland was absent
at the beginningof the meeting ,_ and Martin Beck was appointed as Chairman.
The : minutes of the last two meetings were raed and approved . A bill
of DeweyrWhitford was read and a motion was made by Baker to pad same as read .
Seconded by Murisey and carried by a roll vote ._
The board in an effort to lower the town8s expense , thought it advisab2
• leto despense with the towns purchasing Bomar for town officals , and the folic
wing resolution was_ offered by Cornelius who moved its adopt / oral

village , and ask the town to consider joining with the village , alomg with
Freeville village , far police protection. aAfter a thorough discussion on i .
subject a motion was made by . Cornelius , That the chairman appoint a
committee of two from the town , to work with a comm . from the villages of
Frreeville and Dryden , and present a proposition -eS for agreement at the
next board meeting , seconded by , Qulding and carried by a roll call
vote . All yes . lOrrie Cornelius and Martin. Beck were appointed by th e Chairman
as that committee . .
