Sweetland in the chair . The meeting was called to order , at 8 - 30 P . M . The
Minutes of the meeting were read and approved .
After much discussion over the' increased expenses of the town , and in
face of the Tact that more snow plow service as well as sanding of slippery
roads and continued highway improvements demanded by the tax payers , also the
erection of a new bridgethe following budget was 'submitted ;

Mr Crumbl, . agent for Ford trucks was present and submitted prices on
2 Ton- dump trucks ; purchase price $ 2553 , 00 offered $ 500 . 00 allowance on 2936
2 T!bn , rrices on Mack and Brockway trucks were also submitted . A motion
was made by Cornelius to trade the 87 , Two Tern truck for Brockway 240 , fully
equipped , , price to be . 37039 . 00 with allowance of 41639 . 00f. or old truck , secondd
by Spaulding and carried by roll call 7cte all yes but Beck who voted no ,

Cornelius to pay as read carried by roll call vote .
The bids of Ticknor and COle foi 'ftr. e -' insurance were read. ,- and it was
agreed to pospone the renewal untilff theenext meeting awadting the bid
of Geo . Bailey local insurance Agent , after a phone conversation with Baffle
who agreed the present would be in force for a continued. 30 days.
Five applications for dog enumerators were read and avote by ballot
was taken wigh the result that Charles Mead and Donald Cornelius were appoint '
to that office for 1941 .
A motion was madd and seconded to recommend that the County purchase
a F-rink plow for the new tractor . Upon motion made and sec onded meeting

of thr Supv; . Alvord as appointed as chairman . After an accounting of all monie
spentfor the year, a short buisnoss session was held . -
A motion was made by baker that , the Dryden ank be desginated for the
deposits of town monies seconded by Beck and caed by roll call vote .
" motion was made by Munsey to transf er* 200 . 00 to Item I HAyhway

fund , seconded by Baker and carried by roll call vote .
motion% was made by Cornelius seconded by Munsey to put wouldbe welfare
clients at work at . 25 cents per hr . under the direction of welfare otfic-er
and under the supervision of a compe.-tant foreman such as Charles Woolever ,
carried by roll call vote all yes . . j

bridges by contract was read , : and a motion made by Spaulding that the town cler
be empowered to adv. , for bids in the Ithaca Journal news . and the rural newsforl
