The town board meet at the office of the town clerk for regular monthly
meeting . Welfare ' officer Nicely , Supt of Highways_. Beach , and all justices
present except Ernest C:otterell , who had resigned , Supv Sweetland presiding .
The minutes of the last two meetings were read and were approved . The
w elfare statement read as follows -

A. • motion made by Beck seconded by Cornelius thatthese bills be paid as
✓ ead . Roll call vote all yes . Carried
Mr Conley W . P . A . representive present , regarding a road project for
this year . After a diseussion , a motion was made by Spaulding to have the
Supt of highways' , in company with Mr Conley , go over the roads ..that are desgin
ated and also a mile of road in West Dryden, and report and ;• present figures
on same, seconded by Beck and carried by a roll call vote . all yes
All other bills read and a motion made by Cornelius to pay all bills as
✓ ead except that of Dewey Whiflord , requesting an itimized . statement ,
seconded by Beck , and carried by a roll call vote . all yes
A resignation of Ernest Cotterela , wwras tusCice of peace was read., and a
motion made by Cornelius seconded by Beck the resignation be accepted . Carried
by a roll call vote all yes .
A petition : was presented by Frank Gallagher , requesting that . Bert Gard be
appointed to fill this vacancyfor the unexpired term: A motion wasp. made by
Beck to noninate Bert Card , The nomination of John Munsep was offered by
Cornelius seconded by Spaulding . Cornelius moved .that nominations be closed_
seconded by Spaulding . ALroll call vote was taken results as follows - -

Cornelius John Munsey Munsey declared appointed,
One sealed bid was opened , that of Eugene Spam-, for loan of money omi
certificates of indebtedness , for purchase of machinery . A bid was also presen
ted by Supv . Sweetland from a Bonding Company . . after a diseussion , and in as m
much as the machineryrhad not arrived , it aas = decided to pospone this matter
awaiting the arrival of the machinery in question . Upon motion made and second:

The minutes of last meeting read and were approved . Bids for loan of thi
money , that of Eugene Space andthe C:; E . Weinig State : & Minucipal bonding Co .
were read and considered . A motion made by Beck seconded by Baker to
accept the following resolution , :

machinery from they Syracuse Supply Company , Syracuse , N . Y . ,
and in payment for which the said town has agreed to execute
and deliver certificates of indebtedness , representing the sum •
and in athe amount of Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars 05500 . )
as provided by said contract . The !own Board of the said town
of Dryden does hereby direct , authorize and empower , Edwin R .
- a"Aletland , as Supervisor of the said town of Dryden , to sign and
