Nancy: Ag tourism will be included. Research on roadside stand. Sent through email. Check on
Federal- this is happening more and more. Any produce that is edible (not in husk) would be
covered.
Milo: I-low does the report you sent around effect us? Are you talking about regulations that also
have to do with botching meat on the farm?
Nancy: Impacts on roadside stands. Cannot butcher on farm except for chickens.
Peter: This committee should only be concerned with the selling of stand vegetables, any other
issues would be handled accordingly. They should be allowed to do so.
Nancy: Sent article about towns taking action; regulations at the town level, not pertinent right
now. Wait and see approach.

L: J
E,
Milo: Incoporate.
Stanley: Not structured versus structured activities- instead of active and passive.
Charlie: Oversight

Dryden
Lake Park; somewhat
structured; canoe and boat launch site;
developing
more than
it has in the past two
years.
Milo: People like the area; history tells us that the direction is heading towards developed as
Town becomes more populated.
Discussion of Recreation Goal:
- include objectives about signage, parking, public information
- reference the RMP, but rewrite so that it complements, does not overlap that plan
Discussion of Conservation Goal:
- CFA's, ecological benefits, human health and wellbeing —they have legal standing , benefits as
opposed to services , substitute conservation for preservation , natural and scenic beauty
-Fold into ONE goal as best we can; guide development —rural character; DNA's? — as opposed
to CFA's?
Ag Committee to work on Agricultural goals and objectives —to follow -up at future meeting
Discussion of purpose of goals and objectives — action words and measureable objectives (how
much by what date .))
Move to adjourn: 9:20 PM
