Recreation Dept. Conference Room

assist with event_
B. FoothalI /Ch eerIcading - $5, increase for Tackle & Cheerleading to help
defray costs of program.
_ Music in the P'Ark --summer Concert Series Update
i_ DRC pleased that Town Supervisor and Dryden. Mayor attended
first concert on June 30'x' Good to have eiected officials present,

Jenn in the process ofgetting'1,own to open up accounts at retail stores
that she uses of :ell. She thinking this will stif ice the purchasing

having to pay tax and not getting reimbursed, etc_
L. Jenn reported that the T 3 pool rental fee is $35 Jkr, plus $1 OIItr. for
I i ileguard.
F_ ,1ei�n received an invitation from Ann Leonard who is planning a block
party at Hanimond Hill. Proceeds of.'event to benefit trail maintenance
(part ofRarinmond 11i11 State Forrest Trail).
3. Membership Discussed. A number of members anticipate not renewing their
expinIng membership fo r various retw.s(}ns, Members will actively recruit the
1,611owl ng individuals as passible replacements:.Mary Beth McDaniel; An
Streeter, King Stevens, .Bobby Hyde, Ron Space Sr., Randy Stewart. Jim Koaoh.
4, l eview of 2004 Goals,
A. Comprehensive Plan. No apparent action Irc)m the Tovell,

volunteers together to work at the site_ Jenn suggested that the Youth
Conservation Corp be given the project because they are iooking 110r work
and they have worded at the fi eld he 19 re. Jena will contact them to see if
this is possible and contact Gill for help with skinning the in field.
C. Signage. Jim absent, No report. A recommendation was make by
Music in the Park patron that signs to the park Would be he] p1'ul for those
not familiar with Montgomery Park location_
D, Policy & Procedures. Possibility of'T'owrn getting credit card for Town
employees to use was discussed_ Agreement that J e n n. needs to move
money to mileage line in budget for reimbursement of business travel
expenses incurred by both Jenn and summer assistant Erie.
E. Meeting w/ onservation group_ Should be arranged by Jim Wood for
Sept. meeting.
5. Jiin wood has volunteered to be July 8 "Town 3 oard .DRC: rep. Bill volunteered to
attend the Aug. 12"' meeting. Jenn said that there would he a 5pec:iai meeting of
the Town Board and the Recreation Partnership folks on Iuly 22. Anyone
interested should attend for more information_
