The applicant is seeking a Conditional Permit to raise Quail/Chucker’s in a 360' SF shed with a pen enclosure. This item was tabled by the Planning Board for further review. This meeting is being held to consider a conditional permit site plan review for the owner Scott Smith of 1795 Traverse Road Tax Map# 127.17-01-08.000 to raise Quail/Chuckers in a neighborhood residential area on less than five acres which requires a conditional permit. Dated: 06-15-2022 Chairman Baranello asked if letters were sent to the neighbors, Secretary Van Donsel stated yes. Scoot Smith presented his plan for raising Quail and Chucker’s. Neighbor Colleen Buchanan presented her concerns regarding the presence of the fowl. Planning Board members asked questions of both participants. Planning Board Chair Mark Baranello asked three times if there were any further comments, with no further comments Chairman Baranello closed the public hearing at 7:09PM. RESOLUTION #22-021 MOTION TO TABLE THE CONDITIONAL PERMIT FOR SCOTT SMITH UNTIL THE NEXT PLANNING BOARD MEETING: After much discussion Member Carol Lathrup made a motion to table the application for a conditional permit for Scott Smith property located at 1795 Traverse Road Tax Map# 127.17-01-08.000, until the next Planning Board Meeting. Member Sylvia Cook seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes Lathrop, Baranello, Taylor, Hollenbeck & Cook. Nays: None Motion Carried RESOLUTION #22-22 APPROVAL OF THE SITE PLAN FOR GREEK PEAK SIGNS: Member Dale Taylor made a motion to approve the site plan for Greek Peak’s that follow the Zoning Law., no larger than 20SF, ten feet off the road and no higher than 10 feet tall. They also want to make sure the sign is outside of the DOTs right away. Member Sara Hollenbeck seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes Lathrop, Baranello, Taylor, Hollenbeck & Cook. Nays: None Motion Carried RESOLUTION #22-023 PLANNING BOARD MINUTES FROM APRIL 25, 2022: Member Dale Taylor made a motion to approve the Planning Board minutes from April 25,2022 with a correction on a date. Member Sara Hollenbeck seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes Lathrop, Baranello, Taylor, Hollenbeck & Cook. Nays: None Motion Carried FURTHER DISCUSSION: There was some discussion on the Town’s master pan review. Member Baranello wanted to discuss the Resolution that the Planning board approved and to look ahead to what might happen to the towns Comprehensive plan. Member Baranello stated he would be gathering his thoughts and composing a document to present to the Town Board as well as the Comprehensive Plan Committee. With no further business to discuss, Chairman Baranello asked for a motion adjourn the meeting at 9:14 PM. Member Carole Lathrop motioned to adjourn. Member Taylor seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes Lathrop, Baranello, Taylor, Hollenbeck & Cook.
